Finally content with a past I regret

if everything turns out wrong, is it possible that you still did everything right? outside influences are extreme, unavoidable, unpredictable in most cases. what happens after these influences infect that determines the outcome. you can look at their aftermath and assess that. you can look at the source and assess that. you can look at their future and assess that. when is it safe to stop trying. when is it safe to stop caring. is it safe.

there can only be so much damage in a day. there can only be so much damage you can take. though very different numbers, once one is exceeded, there is no turning back. you cant keep looking at the past and focusing on that. true. you cant keep looking in the future and ignore everything else. right. however, you cant ignore everything and think about right now. the past is the past. history books tell us that. the future we can still change, and even what happens now is still in our hands. how much control are we going to take. you can set up fences and hope nobody breaks them, you can set up boundaries and hope nobody crosses them. but what happens when they are crossed and broken. what happens when you lose control. what happens.

you can follow your gut or you can do what others tell you. you can change who you are or stay true to yourself. you can forget about the lapses and continue as if nothing happened. you can give up. which is right. which will be ideal. which will make you happy. isnt that what it is really all about. making you happy. are you happy.

you have control of the situation. you can make it what you want. the hard part is determining what you want. back to above. you can forget. you can move on. you can forgive. why does it always seem that forgetting and forgiving are the easiest. why are you inclined to move on. why go for the challenge.

its what you want.

it makes you happiest.

move on.
